A141 Reopens, Following Fatal Crash
A141 at Hartford has reopened.
The A141 between Hartford and RAF Wyton was closed following a serious collision on Tuesday afternoon.
Two lorries were in collision at about 2.30pm and both caught fire causing extensive damage to the road surface.
This morning Police have identified the driver who was killed, as Phil Asplin, 59, of Cedar Close, March.
The driver of the second lorry, a 23 year-old man from Hornchurch, Greater London, managed to escape although he suffered serious but not life threatening injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to Hinchingbrooke Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Extensive work was carried out to repair the surface of the road.
