16 March 2015, 12:32

Cambridgeshire Police say they've made another arrest in connection with a violent robbery at Madingley Road in Coton in November 2014.

A 34 year-old man from Cambridge was arrested on March 13 as part of the ongoing investigation into the armed raid.
This follows the arrest of a 28 year-old man from Cambridge on March 12.

Both men have been released on bail.

Three men previously arrested in connection with the incident, a 33 year-old from Peterborough; a 35 year-old from Merton; and a 42 year-old from Cambridge, were further interviewed on March 12 and released on bail.

The robbery, which took place between about 10.00pm on Saturday, November 29, and 2.20am the following day, left its elderly victims traumatised and in fear for their safety.

Four men armed with a sledgehammer and a crow bar smashed their way into the house of the couple in their 70s and used violence to demand cash and property.

There is a £5,000 reward for information which identifies the offenders and leads to a successful prosecution and conviction.
