Bourne Police - E-FIT Issued

11 December 2014, 06:00

Police investigating an incident in Bourne on Tuesday 2nd December when a man tried to force an 11 year-old boy into a van - have issued an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to.

Police investigations into the incident are continuing and officers are urging the public's help in reporting anything that could assist their enquiries.

Detectives ask "Were you in the area of North Road and Stanley Street in Bourne on Tuesday 2nd December between 8am and 8.30am?"

This would have been at the height of the 'school run' period, and police are hoping that someone may have seen some suspicious activity, or the van described.

Anyone with information, or who recognises the man in the e-fit is urged to call 101 quoting incident 92 of 2nd December 2014.

On the E-Fit, Bourne Police say the tattoo on the neck is just an indication of the type of tattoo the man had. The actual tattoo is described as "writing, but not English".
