Cat Found In Cambridgeshire Five Years After Going Missing

12 August 2015, 06:10

She's been missing for five years, but after being found in Cambridgeshire, a small black cat has been reunited with her owner, this week.

St Neots Cats Protection say 13-year-old Sophie was discovered in some stables in Alconbury.

They found she was microchipped, and that she'd been missing since 2010.

The microchip said she was last known to be living in Milton Keynes. However, the registered phone numbers on her microchip were not in use but a lady with the same name living in Milton Keynes was found, and turned out to be Sophie's owner, who didn't think she'd ever get to see her cat again.

The stables had become very fond of Sophie and continued to look after her until she was reunited with her owner.
