Cyclist Killed In Peterborough Crash
A cyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in Peterborough.
The crash happened on Bourges Boulevard, just south of its roundabout with Bright Street, at about 12.50am today (April 23).
The woman is in her 20s but cannot be named at this time as formal identification has not taken place.
The car, a London taxi cab, was travelling north at the time. The 59-year-old man from Peterborough driving was not injured.
Anyone who saw the collision, or either vehicle involved just prior, should contact PC Martin Lobley, at the collision investigation unit, on 101.
It's hoped passenger trains will be running on the Ely to Peterborough line again by Monday.
