Elderly Man And Dog Die In Newmarket Crash
An elderly man and his dog have died after their car hit a tree in Newmarket.
Emergency services were called to Bury Road at around 12:30pm yesterday (27th May).
They found a man and a dog in the car. Both died at the scene.
Police are looking into the possibility the man, in his 70s, may have had a medical incident before the collision happened.
His next of kin have been informed.
Officers are asking anyone who may have seen what happened, who has not already spoken to police, to call Suffolk Constabulary on 101, quoting CAD number 117 Thursday 26 May.
