The best places to live in Britain have been released by the Sunday Times; and 3 Cambridgeshire locations are among them.

Ely comes out strong, while Hemingford Grey and The Shelfords also make the top 15.

Factors taken into account range from jobs, exam results and broadband speed; to culture, community spirit and local shops.

Tim Palmer is one of the judges who compiled the list. He told Heart the simplest of factors can make a massive difference:

"You've got the Cathedral in Ely - but then, the way the light might strike it at certain times of day can often be enough to bring a little bit of joy.

"We're looking for those places that really do have a bit of soul an a bit of proper local identity."
