Fire At Duxford Recycling Centre
Part of the A505 is closed, following a fire at a wood recycling centre near Cambridge.
The fire service was called at 10.20pm to a fire in the open at a Bridge Foot Quarry in Flint Cross.
The fire involves a large quantity of wood chippings at a wood recycling plant.
Three crews and the water carrier initially attended and contained the fire. Following liaison with the Environment Agency the remaining fire is being allowed to burn in a controlled manner for now. One fire engine remains at the scene.
The A505 is closed between the junction with the A10 and junction 10 of the M11.
Anyone affected by the smoke plume should keep doors and windows closed.
