Great Wilbraham Death - Asphyxiation

A woman found dead in her home in the Cambridgeshire village of Great Wilbraham has been named locally as Dr Helen Nicoll.

The dentist had died from asphyxiation, her body was found at her house in Frog End, Great Wilbraham, by police last Friday.

A 53 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains on police bail.

Cambridgeshire Police said the death of Dr Nicoll, who's not yet been offically named by police, is being treated as "unexplained".

The force confirmed the cause of death and said:

"Further tests and inquiries will now be carried out to provide clarity over the circumstances of her death."

Dr Nicoll lived at the house in Frog End with her husband.

Both were partners at a private dental practice in Hurst Park, Cambridge, and he also worked in Harley Street.
