Man Charged With Murder Of Jeff Henry In Cambridge
Police have charged a man with the murder of Cambridge man Jeff Henry.
Ben Maguire, 28, formally of Minerva Way, Cambridge, was charged yesterday (June 19) and will appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court this morning.
A 34-year-old man from Huntingdon was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday (June 17) and remains in custody.
A 36-year-old man from County Galway was arrested on suspicion of murder on June 13, at Holy Head Port, Anglesey. He has been bailed until August 18.
Detective Inspector Alan Page from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said: "Charging Ben Maguire with the murder of Jeff Henry is a significant step forward in bringing those involved to justice.
"I am still keen to hear from people in the local community who may have information relating to this vicious and cowardly attack.
"I would urge anyone with knowledge of this offence and the reasons for it, to come forward and not to protect those involved.
"Please be assured that any information you provide will be treated in confidence."
