Man Charged With Murdering Woman In Wisbech

A man has been charged with murdering a woman in Wisbech.

The body of 53 year old Laraine Rayner was found at a property in Mill Road the Sunday before last (April 24th).

A post mortem examination revealed that she died from a stab wound to the neck.

43 year old Steven Stocks, from North Brink in Wisbech, has been charged with murder and preventing a lawful and decent burial.

He remains in police custody and is due at Peterborough Magistrates' Court this morning.
