Man Exposed Himself To Elderly Lady In Bourne

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after an incident of indecent exposure in a park in Bourne.

At between 10am and 10.15am on Thursday 19th February a 69 year-old local woman walked from Manor Lane into the Well Head Park on South Street and as she walked along the path a man passed her walking in the opposite direction. As he did he made an indecent comment to her and exposed his genitals.

The lady ran towards St Peters Road and left the park, the man followed her for a short distance and then walked away, possibly back into the park.

The man is described as white, aged between around 20 and 30, between approximately 5ft 10in and 6ft in height, of medium build, with dark hair and wearing a black jacket over a black and grey hooded top and jeans, and he spoke with a South England accent.

Anyone who may recognise the man from his description or saw a man matching it in the area, or anyone who may have experienced anything similar, is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police. Please report any information directly to Sgt Leanne Carr at Stamford Police Station on 101 and use extension 3633 (or email leanne.carr@lincs.pnn.police.uk )
