Man Hit By Train In Holme
A man has died after being by a train in Holme near Peterborough.
British Transport Police were called to the line near Long Drove at 7.49am this morning.
A spokesman said: "Colleagues from Cambridgeshire Constabulary and East of England Ambulance Service also attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The man's death is not being treated as suspicious, and officers are now working to identify him and inform his family.
"A file will be prepared for the coroner."
Rail services were cancelled and delayed while the recovery operation was underway.
