The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust received a call at 10.47am yesterday (26th February) to the A605 at Haddon, near Peterborough.
Two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer and the MAGPAS Helimedix Air Ambulance attended.
They treated a man in his 40s who had a suspected spine fracture and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for further treatment.
His injuries were described as potentially life-changing, but not life-threatening.
