Motorcyclist Critical Following Ely Crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision in Ely.

The 32-year-old was discovered on the grass verge in Lisle Lane at its junction with Lisle Close at 11.24pm yesterday (Thursday).

His blue Piaggio 125cc motorcycle was nearby.

He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Sergeant Gordon Murray said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the motorcycle prior to it."
