Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries In Peterborough

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious, possibly life threatening injuries, after a crash with a car and a dustcart in Peterborough.

Emergency services were called to Burghley Road at around 7.15am today (25/03) to reports a silver Nissan Primera, a blue Kawasaki motorcycle and the dustbin cart had collided.

The road has now been shut at the Lincoln Road end, and is expected to remain closed until at least midday.

The man, in his 30s, is being taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
