Cambridge City Council's asking people who live along one of the area's busier arterial roads, the Perne Road, how it can be improved.
It's after the verges and parking areas have been churned up by parking on the grass and cyclists using the pavement as the dedicated cycle can be hazardous as it's often obstructed by being part of the main road.
The Authority says the consultation gives local residents and stakeholders an opportunity to communicate support for environmental improvement of specific sections of verge.
In addition, the responses will provide useful information about current local opinion on the environmental and parking issues related to the grass verges on Perne Road.
