Police Hunt Man After Eight Cambridge Burglaries

Police in Cambridge have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with eight burglaries in the space of an hour.

Burglars stole cash and jewellery from eight flats in a building in Purbeck Road, Cambridge, between 11.30am and 12.30pm on September 4.

A total of £1,000 and jewellery including a £600 Pandora bracelet were taken.

Detective Constable Tom Taylor said: "These burglaries have affected a number of people and we're keen to catch the person responsible. I would urge anyone who recognises the man pictured on the CCTV as we believe he could have important information to assist our investigation."

Anyone with any information should call DC Taylor on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
