Second Man Charged With Cambridge Murder
Police have charged a second man with the murder of Cambridge man Jeff Henry.
Martin Saunders, 34, of Beaton Crescent, Huntingdon, was charged with murder today (July 22) and was due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court this morning.
A 36-year-old man from St Ives (formerly stated as residing in County Gallway), who was re-arrested yesterday (July 21) on suspicion of murder has bailed until August 18.
Mr Henry, 39, was assaulted on Campkin Road on June 7.
He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, where he remained in a critical condition with a fractured skull and traumatic brain injuries until June 12, when the decision was made to turn off his life-support machine.
Ben Maguire, 28, formerly of Minerva Way, Cambridge, has already been charged with murder.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Leonne Weeks, 16, who was found dead on a path in Rotherham.
