22 April 2012, 08:00

10 years after the murder of Soham schoolgirl Holly Wells - her Dad's running in the London marathon today in her memory.

Kevin Wells has raised more than £5,000 so far for a bereavement charity - and wants to double that.

Vicky Baruch from Grief Encounter told Heart about Kevin and wife Nicola's involvement in the charity: "Kevin and Nicola told us they were overwhelmed to discover like Grief Encounter exists, and ever since then they've been absolutely wonderful and as supportive as they can be."

Vicky says Holly's Dad Kevin supported the charity because of the help they gave their son - and Holly's brother - Oliver: "Children we support often feel noone else understands what they're going through, they feel absolutely isolated.losing a sibling at such a young age is tragic
so we offer somewhere for these children to come when they feel they need an outlet to support them."

Today, Holly's Dad has joined 35,000 runners today, along with celebs including Nell McAndrew, Gordon Ramsay and Will Young.
