St Neots: River Search Continues

Police are continuing to search a stretch of river today following reports yesterday (January 12) of a man falling from a bridge on Mill Lane, Little Paxton.

Police say "We received a report from a member of the public yesterday at about 4pm, stating that they believed they saw a man fall into the river. The man was described as in his 30s, with short or balding hair, and wearing a red T-shirt."

Inspector Dave Greenwood said:

"We have had no reports of a missing person who matches this man's description. Therefore we are urging people to make contact with anyone they know, who they have not heard from since about 4pm yesterday, who matches this description.

Searches continue today, along with partner agencies, and we ask anyone with information to come forward."

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident 308.
