The owner found a significant amount of blood on their doorstep at about 8am on April 15 and later that day found the cat behind their bins.
The five-year-old tabby cat had two cuts, one from its chin down its chest, and the other along the length of its back. It was taken to a vet who determined that the injuries were deliberate.
