Tabby Cat Deliberatey Attacked In Cambridge

A cat has been left with cuts after being deliberately attacked near Cambridge.

Police say they were called at 10.16am yesterday (Tuesday) with reports of a cat having been deliberately injured in Saffron Road, Histon, between just before midnight on April 14 and 8am the following morning (April 15).

The owner found a significant amount of blood on their doorstep at about 8am on April 15 and later that day found the cat behind their bins.

The five-year-old tabby cat had two cuts, one from its chin down its chest, and the other along the length of its back. It was taken to a vet who determined that the injuries were deliberate.
