Two Cambridge Men Charged Over Coton Burglary
Two men charged in connection with Coton armed burglary
Two men from Cambridge have been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary which happened in Coton last year.
A 35 year-old man has been charged with aggravated burglary and a 42 year-old man has been charged with handling stolen goods.
The 35 year-old is due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on June 9.
The 42 year-old has been remanded to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on May 5.
The robbery, at the home of an elderly couple in Madingley Road, Coton, took place between about 10pm on November 29, 2014, and 2.20am the following day.
The couple were bound with gaffer tape before both were assaulted over the course of several hours.
A number of valuable antiques were taken in the robbery.
