Two Teenagers Appear In Court Over Spalding Murders
Two 14 year olds have appeared in court charged with murdering a mum and her daughter in Spalding.
The body of 49-year-old Elizabeth Edwards and 13-year-old Katie were discovered at a house in Dawson Avenue on Friday.
The boy and girl have been remanded in youth detention and will return to Lincoln Crown Court this afternoon.
DCI Martin Holvey, of EMSOU Major Crime and who is leading the enquiry, said: “Post mortem examinations will be carried out in due course but again I still need to speak to anyone with any information that might be relevant from Dawson Avenue from around noon on Wednesday (April 13) to noon on Friday (April 15).
"If you saw or heard anything that you thought was suspicious or unusual I’d encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible."
You can call the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 163 of 15/04/2016 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Tributes have been pouring in over the weekend. Ms Edwards' partner, Graham Green, wrote on his Facebook page: "My babe has gone but you will always in my heart forever and ever and ever."
