Kev was amused today after I pulled out a Fennel from my handbag, I don’t usually carry around vegetables but it was sent to us to support Veggie Month and I hadn’t taken it out of my bag. Just like most of us I don’t empty my bag very often and find all sorts left in there, so we asked if anyone could beat a vegetable in their bag. We were surprised to hear Lucie had a urine sample in hers and Gemma had 2million Lira, only it was old Lira and not worth anything. If you have pets, you’re probably as crazy about them as we are about ours. So crazy in fact that we asked the question: If your pet had a job, what would it do? Kev’s dog Duffy is excellent with kids, playful and good with the roads, so she’d make a perfect Lolly Pop Lady or Deputy Manager at a playgroup!! My cat would make a great solider as he’s always getting down low on the ground and staking the place out, plus he has black camouflage stripes under his eyes. This year is the 30th anniversary of the Secret Diaries of Adrian Mole. So we got talking about diaries and if it was ever a good idea to keep one. My Mum would always snoop for information when I was a teenager so I never kept one, although now I’d love to be able to giggle over some of the childish thoughts and worries I had back then and who I fancied at school. Lots of you had kept diaries but after we spoke to Shelley she put me off for life:

Today we had a Flip Off as its Pancake Day. Kev cheated by bringing in a really heavy pan for me and a light-as-a-feather pan for him, so guess who won?! I went for the double handed holding pan approach whilst Kev remained clam and steady using just a flick of the wrist. Unfortunately no one wanted to eat mine after I’d flipped it as it didn’t end up back in the pan. Let’s hope your pancakes have a bit less fluff on them. Ros x

On the show today we were talking about what a mess Dad’s make when they are in charge of the dinners.
One Dad even blended up sausages and served it with potatoes. Kev’s dad used to make cheap meat lasagne and put crisps and cucumber in it – how random, not that my dad was any better he tried to make us a microwave meal once but read the ‘FROM FROZEN’ times, so it ended up exploding.

Prince Charles and Camilla are coming to Cambridge today ahead of the Queens Diamond Jubilee, so we were asking today do you have any official Royal Memorabilia or commemorative tat as we liked to call it.
Most of us had coins and plates from the Silver Jubilee as well as the royal wedding with Charles and Diana, but Kim from Huntingdon even had a jigsaw puzzle commemorating Charles and Camilla’s wedding which had the first and wrong date on it!! We guess that probably won’t be worth as much as the one with the correct date.
But with all this Queens Diamond Jubilee business we thought we’d make our own advert to celebrate the occasion.
