Welcome Home to our Inca Trail Trekkers!

A massive well done and thank you to both of our groups of trekkers who have returned home from Peru having conquered the Inca Trail and arrived at Macchu Piccu!

They trekked through mountain terrain, clambered over the infamous Dead Women's Pass and battled with the effects of altitude.  All of this helping to ensure that they worked together as a team and emerged from the challenge with an enormous sense of achievement.

As well as a physical challenge, everyone taking part had a fundraising challenge. In total both groups to date has raised more than £80,000 for Have a Heart. These invaluable funds will be used to support the amazing work of Children's Hospices UK - to provide care and support to local seriously ill children and their families in their own homes.

The first Trek was made up of:

Malcolm Beer, Dean Boyle, Samantha Chandler, Teresa Chuter, Andrew Clark, Yvonne Cottam, Gillean Driver, Kim Farmer, John Freegard, Katie Giles, Charlotte Harding, Nicola Harmer, Charlaine Illingworth, Jackie Jeffrey, Kate Jones, Sue Lamarque, Becky Liddell, Emily Malcolm, Sam May, April Nardulli, Isabelle O'Shea, Andrea Price, Chris Robinson, Katie Sherjan, Ryan Taylor, Lisa Thomson, Sue Walker, Charlie Wallace, Maria Whitby, Martin Willis, Brian Wilson and Heather Woodham.

The second Trek was made up of:

It was a fantastic trek with a great team spirit and raised a lot of money for a great cause.

I would recommend it to anyone out there looking for an adventure and wanting to do something more with life x
