If every person in Colchester donated just 25 pence, the town's Roman Circus would become a tourist attraction.

The campaign has just 16 days left to raise another £40,000, so it can buy land to turn into a visitors centre.

It would mean the grand total raised is £200,000. That's needed to buy land at the Sergeants Mess which would help turn the former site of the Roman Circus into a tourist attraction.

A week of fundraising events, set up to coincide with half-term, are due to take place next week. The aim is to push the campaign ever closer to their £200,000 target.
