Colchester: Posters To Find Missing Woman

Essex Police are handing out posters in Colchester and Tendring after a woman disappeared from Colchester hospital on Saturday (January 28th).

A woman, who gave her name as Abi Chapman, but is now known to be 41-year-old Amanda Goodwin from Derbyshire, left the hospital still having a canula inserted in her neck.

She is described as white, 5ft 5in tall and has shoulder length red hair with a fringe. Her hair is in plaits. When last seen she was wearing a blue hospital top, dark blue jeans, and she is also believed to be in the possession of a small black ski jacket. She has a facial piercing above her lip, and tattoos of Amy Winehouse, Winnie the Pooh characters and Chelsea Football Club.

Anyone who can help identify the woman or knows her whereabouts is asked to contact police at Colchester on 101 or call Missing People on 0500 700 700.
