Grieving Mum Can Bury Her Child
15 year old Scarlett Keeling will be buried at her home near Bradworthy on the Devon-Cornwall border next month on what would have been her 20th birthday.
Her body has only just been released by the Devon coroner who was waiting for documentation from India.
The delay has been another chapter of heart-ache for mum Fiona MacKeown who fears the Indian authorities have been deliberately dragging their heels over the judicial process.
A court case has been continually adjourned and Fiona is convinced men implicated in her daughter's death have not even been approached by police.
It's been a struggle for Fiona and her family to stay positive. But she hopes the bringing Scarlett home for burial may be the start of part of the healing process for them all.
