Proud Pitch Moment For Cornish Schoolboy

Mousa Dembele invites Marshall Janson onto the pitch at White Hart Lane

An 8-year old Cornish schoolboy who fought off meningitis has proudly walked out at White Hart Lane.

Marshall Janson from Perranporth had to have his arms and legs amputated to save his life.

After a social media campaign, Tottenham Hotspur invited him to watch their last home game of the season before having a kick about with the stars.

The 36,000 strong crowd were all on their feet cheering him on as he used his blades to hit the ball to the substitutes; Nacer Chadli, Harry Winks, Kevin Wimmer, Clinton Njie, Ben Davies and Tom Carroll.

Mousa Dembele was also there to complete Marshall's day.

They chanted: "Sign him up."
