Great Strides 65 in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust
Location: Newlands Corner, Guildford in Surrey
Time: 9am

Great Strides 65 is a brand new event from the Cystic Fibrosis Trust which invites teams of 4-6 people to undertake a sponsored walk from Newlands Corner near Guildford to Shoreham by Sea along the Downs Link on Saturday 19 May 2012.
The route will take you to a maximum height of 133 metres with a total ascent of just over 500 metres in under 16 hours, with a support team who will meet you at checkpoints to help you to refuel and change clothes.
This event is being organised by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the UK's only national charity dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis (CF). We fund research to treat and cure CF and aim to ensure appropriate clinical care and support for people with Cystic Fibrosis.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is one of the UK's most common life-threatening inherited diseases affecting over 9,000 people in the UK.
Over two million people in the UK carry the faulty gene that causes Cystic Fibrosis - around 1 in 25 of the population.
Only half of those living with Cystic Fibrosis are likely to live past their late 30s.

Uckfield, Little Horsted and Isfield Fun Run 2012
Location: Isfield Recreation Ground
Time: From 10am
Date: Sunday 27 May 2012
The 2012 Little Horsted and Uckfield Fun Run will be held on Sunday 27 May starting at 10am. There will be 3 running categories, 1K and 5K which are open to both adults and children and a 10K which will only be open to over 14s. Medals will be awarded to winners of each category. The start and finish will be at Isfield Recreation Ground,  TN22 5XH.

Brighton Frocks Catwalk Show(Brighton Fashion Week)
Location: All Saints Church, Hove

The week kicks off with the return of the Brighton Frocks Catwalk Show exhibiting everything that is unique and spectacularly theatrical which will be a fiery feast for your eyes!

The Zeitgeist Catwalk Show(Brighton Fashion Week)
Location: All Saints Church Hove
Date: Thursday, 31^st May

The Zeitgeist Fashion Show showcases the weird and wonderful. It’s packed full of an astonishing selection of innovative and cutting edge designs which you won’t be able to get enough of.

The Photocopy Club (does fashion)
Location: Create Studios
Date: Friday, 31^st May

This year we have The Photocopy Club which is a brand spanking new exhibition getting photography off the internet and back to print , presenting photographs from all around the world that have been printed by each photographer using a photocopier.

The Ready to Wear Show(Brighton Fashion Week)
Location: Brighton Corn Exchange
Date: Saturday 2nd June & Sunday 3rd June

  Then next up, we have The Ready to Wear Show which is hosted by Joey Bevan of Britain’s Next Top Model.  The Ready to Wear Show will continue to feature men’s and women’s boutique, high street, and vintage clothing and accessories produced by established, independent, and new designers and stockists. There will be a series of stunning catwalk shows and exhibitions, as well as a chance to pamper yourself with various hair and make-up demonstrations so don’t say we don’t spoil you here at Brighton Fashion Week!

Fishbourne Fete
Location: Fishbourne School
Time: 11.30 am to 2.30 pm
Date: 23rd June 2012
Traditional village Fete with barbecue and beer tent, teas and cakes, bouncy castles, Arena entertainment and many exciting stalls.  Come and join the fun.  Please part at the Roman Palace.
