Detectives in Bournemouth are investigating a robbery in the town.
A 17-year-old boy from Bournemouth, was approached from behind by two men and dragged to the ground at around 2am on Sunday 16th September near the mini golf course in Bournemouth Gardens.
The men stole his wallet and mobile phone before running off in different directions.
Detective Constable Steve Griffin, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said:
“This was a nasty attack on a young man in the centre of Bournemouth, and he is very lucky to have only sustained minor injuries.
“This incident happened in an area of Bournemouth that is frequented at all times of the day and night by members of the public, and we believe it is likely somebody may have some information that can help us in our investigation.
“I urge anyone with any details to contact Dorset Police on 101 in the strictest confidence.”
The offenders are described as having shaved heads, aged in their twenties, of stocky build, and spoke in a foreign language.
Special constables will be trained in CPR, using oxygen and defibrillators so they can be first responders if they're closest.
The council's awarded the lease to the charity Friends of Poole Park.
