£20k Cash Stolen From Tea Rooms
20-thousand pounds has been stolen in a burglary at the tea rooms at Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch.
A five-foot cabinet containing approximately £20,000 was stolen from the tea rooms in Highcliffe Castle on the evening of 30th July 2012.
Police Constable James Perks, of Christchurch Police said:
"Due to the size of the cabinet the offenders would have needed some form of transport to move it.
"Therefore, anyone who saw any unusual activity in the vicinity on the 30 July is requested to contact 101"
Following the burglary the cabinet was dumped in Ambury Lane.
PC Perks added;
"We are also keen to hear from anyone who saw the cabinet in Ambury Lane so that we can establish the exact time of the burglary."
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101.
Officers say many of those were after people didn't secure their car properly.
James Hemming pleaded guilty to wounding with intent after a 17-year-old girl was badly injured in Fratton.
Dorset and Hampshire officers will be carrying out extra patrols until New Year's Day.
