46-year-old Man Attacked In Bournemouth

Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a man was assaulted in the Meyrick Park area of the town.

The incident, in which a 46-year-old man from Bournemouth was badly injured, occurred between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday 27 December 2012 in Branksome Hill Road.

Detective Inspector Steve O'Donoghue, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: "This is an extremely nasty attack and the victim has been left with very serious injuries.

"This crime may have been committed by one or more offenders but unfortunately the victim is unable to provide further details.

"Witnesses and anyone with information are asked to contact police as soon as possible in the strictest confidence."

No arrests have been made.
