Baby Survives Head On Crash

A baby’s survived a head on crash which saw his mum break both her arms.

Police say it happened yesterday just after 1pm on Tuesday (Nov 9th) at Tout Hill on the Wool to Bere Regis road.

The 4 month old was strapped into a car seat at the time and wasn’t injured. His dad was also in the car and had to be cut out of the vehicle along with his mum.

It’s thought the family were on holiday from Southampton.

The driver of the other car, which flipped on to its roof during the smash, is in hospital with a serious neck injury.

The road was closed for almost four hours and was reopened just before 5pm.

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 01305 222 222, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
