A victim's rights campaigner from Dorset is calling for devices that jam mobile phone signals to be installed in prisons across the UK.

Kathy Franklin from Blandford reckons the 'jammers', which cost £3000, would stop inmates being able to access sites like Facebook and taunting their victims on the outside:

"It's a small device, the same size as a mobile phone. You just put it into any building t hat you want no mobine phone signal in. Any one that is trying to access teh internet through a mobile phone, the jammer kicks in and it will jam the signal.

She is now petitioning the government about the jammers.

Justice Secretary Jack Straw says they are currently looking at more ways to stop prisoners getting online.
