Police say a dangerous burglar went missing from a treatment centre in Weymouth last week has been arrested.
31 year old James Rennie was taken in by police on Saturday 26th June after a member of the public reported seeing him in Dorchester.
He was arrested at a flat in Fordington just before 4.30pm.
Rennie had breached the terms of his release from a nine year sentence for burglary and robbery by leaving a treatment centre in Weymouth.
Police had described him as 'A Dangerous Man'.
Detective Inspector Guy Shimmons of Dorset Police said: “The terms of Rennie’s release from prison on licence are that he permanently lives at the treatment centre in Weymouth so in leaving the premises and breaching his prison licence, he has to be arrested,”.
