Dorset Police Investigating Sex Attack

Police in Sturminster Newton are investigating an attempted sexual assault on a woman in the town.

It happened at around 2pm on Monday 13th May 2013 on a footpath near the sorting office on the Butts Pond Industrial Estate.

The victim, a 27-year-old woman from Sturminster Newton, was pushed to the ground by an unknown man who then attempted to indecently touch her over her clothing.

She managed to kick the offender off and he fled the scene. The woman wasn't hurt.

“He also had facial piercings and a tattoo on his neck.

“Witnesses and anyone with information about the incident should contact Dorset Police as soon as possible in the strictest confidence.”

No arrests have been made.
