A woman from Poole is on a mission to raise enough money to send her best friend's sick son on a holiday of a lifetime to meet Mickey Mouse.

Harry Churchill has got a rare skin condition where it blisters with friction. He was given six months to live by doctors but has already defied their expectations by turning one last month.

Family friend Maria Traylen says his condition is really hard on both him and his mum Stephanie:

"It does look like one big burn from his nose down, and so people do think you've burnt him what have you done. She has had people stop her in the street and call her an awful mum saying 'what have you done'?"

Harry's condition also affects his airways so he can now only breathe through a tracheotomy tube in his neck.

Maria has been telling Heart his family and friends want to send him on a trip to Euro Disney with his mum and dad for their first family holiday.

She has planned a big fundraising day at the Fairmile pub in Christchurch on Saturday July 10th from 12pm.
