Huge Haul Of Desinger Watches Stolen
Officers in Sherborne are investigating a burglary at a jewellers, where thousands of pounds of designer watches were taken.
It happened at around 2.59am on Thursday 13 December 2012 at Hudson and Hall on Cheap Street.
The offenders broke into the shop by smashing the glass on the front door, before stealing a large number of Hugo Boss watches with a combined value of more than £5,000.
Police Sergeant Rachel Goodwin, of the Sherborne Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: ''This burglary happened sometime
overnight when the premises were unoccupied, and a large quantity of expensive watches have been stolen.
We are interested to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time of the incident, or have any other information that could help with our investigation.
I would also like to hear from anyone who has been approached to buy Hugo Boss branded watches in strange circumstances or at unusually low prices.''
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 13:21. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
Officers say many of those were after people didn't secure their car properly.
James Hemming pleaded guilty to wounding with intent after a 17-year-old girl was badly injured in Fratton.
Dorset and Hampshire officers will be carrying out extra patrols until New Year's Day.
