Lorry Driver Who Died In M27 Crash Named

Police have named the lorry driver who died in a crash on the M27 last week.

Ognyan Kozhuharov, 58, from Bulgaria, was killed when his HGV lorry crashed on the westbound carriageway, just before 7.45am on Friday March 31, between junctions 9 and 10.

He suffered a medical episode while at the wheel and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital but died a short time later.

His next of kin have been informed.

Police closed the M27 in both directions for a number of hours when the crash happened.
