“I would urge those pictured – and anyone who recognises any of the men pictured – to contact me, in confidence, as soon as possible.

”It could be that any one of the men pictured will have information that will help me to find out exactly what happened along Stafford Road during the morning of Thursday, 18 March.

“I’d also urge anyone who witnessed an incident in which a man was attacked by three men in the Stafford Road and Old Christchurch Road area, and anyone who has any information about those responsible, to contact me urgently.”
