Three men forced their way into a home on Ashley Road on Friday and stole valuable Asian jewellery and cash.
Man Attacked In Weymouth Club
Detectives in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a man was allegedly assaulted at a nightclub in the town – with one man being arrested.
The incident, in which a 24-year-old man sustained minor injuries, happened at Dusk, along Weymouth Esplanade at around 4.30am today, Tuesday, 30 August 2011.
The victim, from Bridport, did not require hospital treatment.
Detective Sergeant Steve Broadhurst, of Weymouth CID, said:
"I understand that a number of people were in this area at the time of the incident – it may be that someone saw an altercation at Dusk during the early hours of this morning.
"I am appealing for witnesses to contact me as soon as possible.
"It is important that I find out exactly what happened."
A 41-year-old Weymouth man was arrested and has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
