Man charged with Murder and Rape

A man's been charged with the murder and rape of a woman in Bournemouth.

The 37 year old was remanded in custody today and will appear at Winchester Crown Court on the 19th.

The woman, thought to be in her thirties, was found at a property on Wayside Road in Southbourne last week.

Detectives are waiting for the result of a forensic post-mortem to establish the cause of her death and formally identification has not yet taken place.
