Man Hurt In 'Noisy Neighbour' Row

Police in Weymouth are investigating a row outside a block of flats in the town centre.

Two men got into a fight both inside and outside a block of flats at Portmore Gardens between 2.50pm and 3.10pm on Tuesday, 18 October 2011.

It left one of the men, a 47-year-old from Weymouth, with a broken cheekbone, nose and two fingers.

Detective Constable Gerald Marchant, of Weymouth CID, said:

“I understand that an altercation took place between the two men inside a flat in Portmore Gardens, following a dispute about loud music and excessive noise.

"This altercation continued outside the flat in the communal car park.

“I’m keen to hear from any witnesses who saw or heard this altercation, or anyone else with any information that may help my investigation.”
