Man Knocked Out In Bournemouth Bar Attack
Police in Bournemouth are investigating after a man was beaten unconscious in the toilets of a bar.
At 2.31am on Sunday 11 October 2015, police were called to Saxo bar in Charminster Road following reports that a man had been assaulted in the toilets.
The victim, a 46-year-old man from Bournemouth, was knocked unconscious in the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury. His condition is not thought to be serious.
Detective Constable Mark Richardson, of Bournemouth CID, said:
“Following my investigation, I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to in relation to this incident.
“I am urging anyone who recognises this man to please contact me on 101.
“I am also appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information about who was responsible to please come forward.
“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 11:84. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
Officers say many of those were after people didn't secure their car properly.

Dorset and Hampshire officers will be carrying out extra patrols until New Year's Day.
