Man Shot In Bournemouth

A 28-year-old man is in hospital after being shot in Bournemouth.

It happened on Paget Road in Kinson at 11am on Sunday. Police say his injuries aren't life threatening.

Five people - all from Bournemouth - were arrested by police on Sunday, and have been released on police bail.

Crime scene investigators have carried out a forensic examination at the scene of the shooting and a cartridge case has been recovered in Paget Road.

Police officers seized a car which is also being forensically examined by crime scene investigators.

Extra police patrols have been taking place in the area of the shooting to reassure the public.

Officers have also been carrying out house to house enquiries.
