A man, who lost a leg after a lorry crashed into a south coast hotel, is still in a critical condition today according to Police.

He was walking in Lyme Regis last Friday when the Royal Mail truck mounted the pavement, throwing him through the window of The Mariners Hotel.

The driver, who was also injured and is from Bournemouth, has now been released from hospital - Officers think the lorry collided with another cars trailer just before it happened.
