The wife and daughter of a missing New Forest man are begging him to come home.

44-year-old Phillip Barlow from Lymington has not been seen for a week.

His wife says he was really stressed about serious debt, but says it's not like him to just disappear.

He drives a white Vauxhall Astra van which was last seen in the Bournemouth area on Tuesday, April 13. The registration number is VN54 TZV.

Detective Inspector Justin Norris said:

"We are increasingly concerned for the welfare of Mr Barlow and are looking for anyone who has seen him or his vehicle in recent days to contact police as soon as possible. He does not have a mobile phone and has not been in contact since he left home last week. This kind of behaviour is out of character for him and we just want to ensure that he is safe and well, wherever he is."

Anyone with any information in relation to this incident should contact police in Lyndhurst on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
