More drugs arrests in Weymouth

Police officers have raided a number of addresses across Weymouth and Portland over the last two days, arresting 17 people in total.

Eight different residential addresses were searched in the areas including Radipole, Southill, Park District, Westham, Littlemoor and Wyke Regis.

Four women, aged between 29 and 46, and six men, aged between 26 and 56, all from the Weymouth area, were arrested in relation to drugs offences.

Late last night, a seventh man from Portland was detained in relation to drugs offences.

On Monday 8 February, six men were arrested after drugs warrants in Preston, Westham, Weymouth town centre and Portland.

13 people have now appeared in court charged with supplying class A drugs and one has been charged with handling stolen goods.
